With a few simple habits, gold and gemstones stay beautiful for years.
In everyday life
Take jewellery off before sport, housework, swimming and contact with chlorine or cleaning products. Perfume, cream and hairspray should have soaked in before you put it on.
Cleaning
For light cleaning, lukewarm water, a mild washing-up liquid and a soft brush are enough – then dry well. With sensitive stones such as pearls, opal or emerald, go gently and avoid ultrasound.
Care by material
Which cleaning suits which material – when in doubt, always choose the gentler method.

When in doubt, or with valuable pieces, it's better to let us do the cleaning.
Storage
Store your pieces individually – in soft pouches or compartmented boxes – so they don't scratch one another. Chains are best stored closed and flat.
